     The Bates Brass Wire Stapler, probably the best stapler ever made, is now available in a machine we call the “Hot Rod”. It is as reliable as the machines that have been in service for over 100 years. It has charm admired by those who like Jeeps, motorcycles, and Humvees.

     Our Hot Rod is a Bates Model C Brass Wire Stapler that has been cut-away in every area possible to expose the inner works. If you like something unique the “Hot Rod” is “Like Nothing Else.” Spawned from our machine shop's R&D, this transformation of a unique stapler is a pleasure to build and operate. The photo above shows our prototype “Hot Rod.”  This truly one-of-a-kind item is now available in our original Green Hammer tone, Gloss Black Enamel, and Lavender Satin. The refill on all models of the Hot Rod is Carnival Red. The pictured machined “Arm” where the black knob is fastened at the end, may have different visual textures.
